Alan B. Marsh was born in Chicago, Illinois. He received his bachelor's degree from Knox College and earned his Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago. Since he co-founded the firm in 1968, White, Marsh, Anderson, Martin, Vickers, Deobler & Goode has grown to enjoy one of the finest reputations for the general practice of law in LaSalle County.
Alan has handled hundreds of cases in a wide variety of matters at both the trial level and appellate levels. His success in litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants illustrates his effectiveness on either side of a controversy. He is a prominent attorney in the area of real estate, including agricultural, commercial, and residential sales, as well as contested matters involving estates, wills, trusts, partition and condemnation of property, contracts, and construction of documents. He is also a skilled lawyer in the areas of estate planning and probate matters.
Alan has been an active board member of the Community Hospital of Ottawa. He has served on the amicus curiae committee of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and as a member of the Appellate Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Chicago, LaSalle County, and Illinois State Bar Associations.
He is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the Trial Bar of the Northern and Central U.S. District Courts of Illinois, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
